New single "Sell You Everything" (FRYCD276) - 14th August
Summer festival appearances
New album "flat-pack philosophy" (COOKCD370) out now
"They're still brilliant, you know." - Time Out
"This is a non-stop barrage of excellent punk-pop, essential for Buzzcocks purists, Green Day-type 'new wave of punkers', and Kaiser Chief rockers. And it's the finest Buzzcocks album to date." - Rock Sound 9/10
"Thirty years on from Spiral Scratch, the sheer vigour of flat-pack philosophy is proof that a dash of Shelley'n'Diggle DNA could solve the ageing problem overnight. With Shelley delivering his best songs in years all you can really do is salute." - Uncut ****
"God What Have I Done is a prime tragicomic vignette, bettered only by Wish I Never Loved You, a kinetic rush of celestial vocals and pawky twin-guitar magnificence. Formula, for sure, but it's the Buzzcock's own: the original and the best." - Mojo
"Bristles with compact, melodic urgency it's a testimony to both the songwriting skills of Pete Shelley and Steve Diggle and bassist Tony Barber's crisp production that Buzzcocks still sound so undeniably valid." - Q
Monday 14th August sees the release of "sell you everything", the new single from Buzzcocks. Taken from their critically acclaimed album, "flat-pack philosophy", the single features two new tracks - "16" and "every day and every night".
Buzzcocks, who were recently awarded the Mojo Honours List 'Inspiration Award', will be performing at a number of UK festivals over the summer period.
